Abu Dhabi To Get Metro Rail System

Abu Dhabi, the capital city of UAE, is proposing to start its own metro system which it expects to be ready by 2015.

According to the reports, experts in Department of Transport (DoT ) system are estimating the modalities of the metro project in the capital, and will hand over the final reports of the project in the last month of this fiscal.

Catching up with Dubai’s strong transportation system and increasing population, the department is expected to launch the project in January 2009.
