Asif Ali Zardari or his sister Talpur may be the next presidential candidate

Lahore, July 28 : Asif Ali Zardari or his sister Talpur may be the next presidential candidate PPP Co-chairman Asif Zardari or his sister Faryal Talpur may be the next presidential candidate after President Pervez Musharraf demits office, which, though, doesn’t seem to be happening in the near future.

Chairman of the PPP’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, Muneer Ahmad Khan said that Musharraf should resign now as he no longer retained his powers.

While Zardari took over the PPP’s reigns after the death of his wife Benazir Bhutto in December, his sister Talpur was elected to the National Assembly from the seat left vacant after Benazir’s assassination.

If Musharraf wishes to complete his full five year term, he would remain in the Presidential House till November 2012. (ANI)
