Bihar Gov. Given additional charge of Jharkhand Governor of Bihar R L Bhatia was given additional charge of Jharkhand Governor.

Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibtey Razi is on leave.

An official communique of Rashtrapati Bhavan said, "The President of India has been pleased to appoint R L Bhatia, Governor of Bihar, to discharge the functions of Governor of Jharkhand, in addition to his own duties, during the absence of Syed Sibtey Razi, Governor of Jharkhand."
