Brown and al-Maliki in talks ahead of Iraq investment conference
London - Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki met for talks with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown in London Thursday to discuss Iraq's future after the withdrawal of foreign troops.
Al-Maliki also met key cabinet ministers ahead of his talks with Brown before joining an investment conference on Iraq at a London hotel later.
The Iraqi leader is head of a high-level delegation of ministers and senior Iraqi government officials attending the one-day conference.
