Bulldozer rams police car in Jerusalem, driver shot dead
Jerusalem - A suspected Palestinian attacker was shot dead in Jerusalem on Thursday after ramming a police car with a bulldozer, local media reported.
Israeli radio said two police officers were injured in the incident, who then opened fire, killing the driver of the bulldozer.
According to a taxi driver interviewed by Israeli radio, the bulldozer attacked the car by bringing its scoop down on the vehicle.
This would not be the first time a bulldozer has been commandeered to attack Israelis. Last July three pedestrians were killed and more than 20 injured in Jerusalem by a bulldozer driven by a Palestinian, who was later shot dead. (dpa)
