Congress accuses Advani of politicising terrorism New Delhi, Apr 28: Congress spokesperson and Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma on Tuesday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani of politicising the issue of terrorism.

“Advani is adopting double standards on the issue of terrorism. It should be opposed in all its manifestations,” Anand Sharma said at a press conference here.

Sharma also criticised the BJP for politicising the ATS Chief Hemant Karkare issue.

“The BJP was insulting ATS chief Hemant Karkare till November 25, 2008, but when he fell to terrorists’ bullets in the Mumbai attacks the following day, the same party sent its Chief Minister to offer cash to the martyr’s widow,” Sharma added. (ANI)
