Election Commission to review Karnataka poll preparedness

Chief Election Commissioner N GopalswamiNew Delhi, Jan 9: Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalswami alongwith two Election Commissioners Navin Chawla and Dr. S Y Quraishi will review the poll preparations in Karnataka for the State Assembly elections that are likely to be held soon.

The team will review preparation of the electoral rolls and general law and order situation.

During their visit, the Election Commission will interact with political parties and senior officials in the state.

President's rule was imposed in Karnataka in November, 2007. (ANI)
