German President honours Sheikh Hamdan with the Order of Merit

Abu Dhabi, Dec 15th, 2008 : German President Horst Koehler has honoured UAE Deputy Prime Minister HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan with the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The German ambassador to UAE Klaus-Peter Brandes decorated Sheikh Hamdan with the medal at a special ceremony held on the fringes of the Emirati-German Friendship Society on Sunday. (WAM/AB)
