Ghazipur MLA’s son kills three, injures six in car mishap
Lucknow, Apr 26: The nineteen-year-old son of Samajwadi Party MLA Shadab Fatima from Ghazipur killed three pavement dwellers and injured six by running his car over them in the Hazratganj area of Lucknow late last night.
Teenager Kashif Abbas was drunk and was at the wheel of a red beacon Tata Safari with registration number UP32CA7640.
The vehicle first hit two motorcyclists and lost control and eventually crushed seven people sleeping on the pavement near the Parivartan Chowk police station, said eyewitness.
Abbas was caught by the people in the area and was later handed over to the police.
Investigations are on, said Superintendent of Police, Luckow, Akhil Kumar. (ANI)
