Hathaway praises Johansson, Knowles’ ‘curvy’ figures
Washington, Jan 24 : Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway has hailed Scarlett Johansson and Beyonce Knowles for projecting healthy body images and being good role models for youngsters.
The Devil Wears Prada star was recently criticised for being too skinny, although the 27-year-old insisted that she is a "normal shape".
And Hathaway praised Johansson, Knowles, and fellow actress Reese Witherspoon for showing off healthy bodies in a world where super-slim is often seen as an ideal, reports Contactmusic.
She says, "I don''t think it''s just Hollywood that gives out that message. As a society we put out these unrealistic body images to young women.
"But I''m a normal shape and Scarlett Johansson is not a skinny, skinny girl.
"Beyonce Knowles looks after herself and has a beautiful body. Reese Witherspoon looks great." (ANI)
