HCL Infosystems Acquires 60% Stake In NTS Group
HCL Infosystems declared that it has purchased a 60% equity stake in NTS Group, a leading Dubai-based IT services and solutions company.
Though HCL Infosystems did not reveal the size of the deal, according to market analysts, it was around $6.5 million.
The acquirement of NTS will now assist HCL Infosystems strengthen its attendance in the Middle East and African markets.
Mr. Ajai Chowdhry, chairman, HCL Infosystems stated, "The completion of this acquisition represents a significant step for HCL Infosystems in our transformation strategy to accelerate growth in our targeted international markets, offering a complete set of products, service and solutions."
NTS, a "total solutions" provider ranging from IT hardware to software services and consulting, has signed up partnership deals with leading enterprises in the area building customized solutions for a host of business requirements. (With Inputs from Agencies)
