MindTree inks strategic alliance with Skytap Inc.
MindTree Limited, a Rs 800-crore software and R&D services company, has entered into a global strategic alliance with Skytap Inc, a leading provider of cloud-based virtual lab solutions.
According to company officials, the partnership enables MindTree's customers to scale test labs on-demand through Skytap's virtual lab solution, resulting in reduced IT costs, accelerated lab provisioning, and effective collaboration among global teams.
Skytap provides testing teams with a complete virtual lab solution over the Web.
Recently, Mindtree has revealed that it will establish newer business verticals and increase its proportion of revenues from outcome-based projects in order to achieve over $1 billion in revenues over the next few years.
In addition, the company also plans to increase its revenues from the Indian market, from around 5-6% currently to around 8-10% of its total revenues within 3-5 years.
The scrip of MindTree closed on Tuesday at Rs 247, down 2 per cent compared to previous close of Rs 251.
