New Defence Minister Parrikar files nomination papers for Rajya Sabha polls

Defence Minister ParrikarLucknow, Nov 10 : Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Monday filed his nomination papers for election to the Rajya Sabha.

At present he is not member of any house in the parliament.

Today is the last date for filing nomination for ten Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.

Election, if needed, will be held on November 20.

Samajwadi Party, BSP and Congress party nominees have already filed their nominations. (ANI)
