No Twilight film for Drew Barrymore

According to contactmusic. com, Drew Barrymore is set to miss out on directing the third Twilight film as Juan Antonio Bayona is the new favourite to take the helm of Eclipse. Charlie's Angels star Barrymore this week announced she was in the running to helm the third movie in the vampire franchise, which is slated to hit cinemas next summer (10).

But according to internet reports, The Orphanage filmmaker Bayona is now movie bosses' first choice to take on the coveted job. Chris Weitz is directing the first Twilight sequel New Moon this summer (09), set for release in November (09). - Sampurn Media
