Roo rubbishes Arsenal’s chances of being Premier League champs

Roo rubbishes Arsenal’s chances of being Premier League champsLondon, Dec. 31: Manchester United and England football star Wayne Rooney has rubbished Arsenal Football Club's chances of winning the Premier League title.

The Old Trafford star also dismissed Aston Villa's chances, saying the champions will be Manchester United, Chelsea or Liverpool.

The Sun quoted Rooney, as saying: "Arsenal are a good team but, in the end I think it will be down to one of the top three and I think we are in a good position. We would have liked to have played those two matches we have in hand. But if we can get some good results in those games we will be in a really good position."

United will be just one point behind leaders Liverpool if they win their games in hand - at home to Wigan and Fulham. (ANI)
