Japanese PM Rearranges Cabinet

Japanese Prime Minister Tokyo: According to the recent reports, Japan’s prime minister picked out knowledgeable conservatives as his novel foreign and defense ministers, as the administration sought to reorganize following a humiliating elective defeat.

National broadcaster NHK and Kyodo News agency described, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe called for Nobutaka Machimura to come again as foreign minister, a position he held under Abe’s forerunner.

Abe also selected Masahiko Komura, 65, as defense minister, the reports enounced.

Komura, who supports a hard-line in opposition to North Korea, served as foreign minister in the 1990s and as justice minister in 2002, the reports added.
