Rahul treats Miliband with experience of dynamic rural India Narayanpur (UP), Jan 15 : The visiting Britain''s Foreign Secretary, David Miliband along with Congress party General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, visited Amethi on Wednesday for a first-hand experience of progressive rural India.

Both the leaders have undertaken a two-day visit to Amethi during which they interacted with the people of Narayanpur and Asadiyapur villages.

Miliband''s eleven-member delegation also accompanied the two leaders during their visit.

He is on a visit to India and Pakistan in an effort to defuse tension between the two countries over the Mumbai terror attacks.

Miliband is also scheduled to visit Mumbai and address meetings at Taj and Trident hotels, the sites of the terror attacks, before departing for Pakistan on January 16. (ANI)
