Sevilla's Luis Fabiano out for three weeks Madrid - Spanish giants Sevilla announced on Friday that star striker Luis Fabiano will be out of action for around three weeks.

The Brazilian hitman badly twisted his left knee in Thursday's dramatic cup clash at home to Valencia, though without damaging the ligaments or cartilage.

Sevilla beat holders Valencia 2-1, with a last-minute goal from Sebastien Squillaci, and go through to the semi-finals on the away goals rule, after a 4-4 aggregate draw.

In next week's semis, Sevilla will face Athletic Bilbao, without Luis Fabiano. (dpa)
