Kalpataru Power gets order worth Rs 373 crore

Kalpataru Power gets order worth Rs 373 crore Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd, a leading EPC player in power transmission and distribution, has secured orders worth Rs 373 crore from Power Grid Corp Ltd.

Under the arrangement, the firm will supply and erect transmission towers for 413 km, 765 kv transmission lines associated with Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project.

The project is schedule to be completed within 27 months from March 2009.

The scrip of the company jumped 2.43 per cent to Rs 234 at the close of Thursday's trading with over 20,000 shares changing hands on the BSE.
