Tom Cruise pulls out of ‘The 28th Amendment’ Washington, Apr 23 : Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has pulled out of political thriller `The 28th Amendment', because its plot is too similar to another upcoming flick `Motorcade'.

The `Vanilla Sky' actor was reportedly signed up for the flick about a U. S. president who uncovers plans to kill him, reports Contactmusic.

Tom turned down the role, as he wanted to act in Motorcade, which is about a terrorist group plotting to attack the U. S. president, according Moviehole. net.

The site also revealed that Tom has rebuffed an offer to play a Hollywood actor who falls for his Chinese director in romantic comedy `Lost for Words'.

Meanwhile, it was being reported that Tom would be teaming up with John Travolta for a remake of `Butch Cassidy'. (ANI)
