Anna Paquin finds wearing next to nothing "liberating"

New York, June 16 : Oscar winner Anna Paquin has learned to beat the heat in style - wearing skimpy bikinis and short-shorts.

The 26-year-old star said that shooting her hit show "True Blood" in the Deep South has taught her to adjust to wearing very little.

"After I was cast and I realized my body would be exposed all the time, I went out and bought some shorts - I owned none - to help me get used to it," the New York Daily News quoted Paquin as saying.

"You stop thinking, Do I look weird at this angle? I've learned to feel comfortable wearing very little. It's liberating!" she added.

The Piano star has also liberated herself of her need for footwear.

"I love being barefoot," she confessed.

"I'm not going to lie - I love my high heels, too, so I'm completely bipolar in that regard," she said. (ANI)
