Sandra Bullock’s ‘The Proposal’ tops weekend box office

Washington, June 22 : Sandra Bullock's romantic comedy The Proposal, co-starring Ryan Reynolds, has topped the weekend box office after raking in 34.1 million dollars.

According to studio estimates, `The Hangover' landed the second with 26.9 million dollars.

`Up' came third after pocketing 21.3 million dollars while `Year One' stood fourth with 20.2 million dollars.

`The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3' rounded off the top five with 11.3 million dollars, reports E! Online.

The weekend''s top-grossing films are:

1. The Proposal, $34.1 million

2. The Hangover, $26.9 million

3. Up, $21.3 million

4. Year One, $20.2 million

5. The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, $11.3 million

6. Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, $7.3 million
