TCS Q1 net up 19%

TCS Q1 net up 19% Country's largest software exporter TCS on Friday recorded a decent 19% growth in consolidated net profit for the first quarter of the current fiscal which stood at Rs 1,533.94 crore.

The company's net profit surged 18.85% from Rs 1,290.61 crore in the same period last year.

Company's total income jumped 12% to Rs 7,206.99 crore in the period under review from Rs 6,410.70 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

During June quarter, the company has incurred a foreign exchange loss of Rs 84.14 crore.
