Telgu Desam Party members suspended for a day
Andhra Pradesh, Mar 03: The Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly K R Suresh suspended Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members and party deputy floor leader Devender Goud from the Assemble for a day.
The TDP disrupted the proceedings by raising anti-government slogans and seeking immediate stoppage of auctions of government lands at different places in the state.
The Speaker had adjourned the house for a brief period initially.
The TDP members held dharna near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi followed by their suspension when the situation did not improve after the reassemble of the staff. (ANI)
