Saudi crown prince in Switzerland for "routine medical tests"

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz Riyadh  - arrived in Switzerland to undergo medical tests, the official SPA news agency reported Monday.

The agency said the prince, who is also the deputy prime minister and defence minister, was on "a private visit for routine medical tests."

No details were given on the nature of the tests.

The octogenarian prince had an operation to remove an intestinal tumour in a Saudi hospital three years ago. (dpa)
