Saudi king to sponsor International Islamic Dialogue Conference Riyadh - King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz will sponsor a three-day International Islamic Dialogue Conference organized by the Muslim World League (MWL), a statement said on Wednesday.

The statement, released by MWL Secretary-General Abdullah al-Turki, said the conference, which begins Thursday, aims at highlighting the concept of dialogue between different religions, cultures and civilizations.

"The conference will concentrate on the authenticity of dialogue with others as mentioned in the Holy Quran and Sunnah (the Prophet's teachings)," al-Turki was quoted as saying. (dpa)
