Mahamaham Pedicon 2007 To Be Held In Kumbakonam

Kumbakonam: ‘Mahamaham Pedicon 2007’, the 32nd Annual Congress of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP), Tamil Nadu Chapter, would be held in Kumbakonam from August 10, 2007.

Its organizing chairman, Dr Vidudagiri told that over 600 medical doctors are estimated to be present at the three-day assembly, when almost 50 papers on various topics would be introduced.

He said that Dr. Naveen Thacker, IAP’s National President will deliver the keynote address.

The main purpose of the meeting is to create awareness about child safety.

Down's syndrome and its affect on kids would also figure in the meeting.

Ko Si Mani, Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Minister would be the guest of honor.
