The small car project issue looks likely to be solved within few days. The leader of Trinamool Congress, Mamata Banerjee, is ready to settles for 200 acres instead of her earlier demand of 300-acre in Nano complex at Singur.

The Buddhadeb government also hinted, to further bring down the level of demand in the coming days. The government team is continuously persuading Mamta on the issue. The state government explained to the opposition party that the vendors of TATA, has set up various utilities at the controversial land in the plant and it would be impossible to return that land to the farmers.

Trinamool Congress leader RN Bhattacharya said that the sate has proposed some formulas to resolve the matter. The party would ponder over those ideas. The interim report of the meeting between the government and the opposition party is likely to come on Monday. Source said that the Trinamool leadership has adopted a flexible attitude and matter is likely to be resolved soon.

Meanwhile, Trinamool congress is also eying on the chunk of land inside the mother plant which is reserved for parking.
