Sonia to attend Congress conference in Kerala today Kochi, Dec 15: Congress party president Sonia Gandhi will attend the three-day state conference of the Congress in Kerala today.

Later, Sonia is scheduled to address a huge party rally at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium at Kaloor in the city.

Defence Minister A K Antony, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Vayalar Ravi and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi are expected to attend the rally.

The UPA Chairperson will also release a 45-minute documentary on Indian Union Muslim League state President Panakkad Syed Mohammed Ali Shihab Thangal.

On Tuesday, she will address about 5000 party workers and elected members of various local bodies including Non-resident Kerala (NRI) representatives.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made in view of her visit. ((ANI))
