Abu Dhabi, 2 Dec. 2008 - The Centre of Information Affairs in Abu Dhabi has organized a symposium on "Zayed: Immortal Achievements", on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the passing of the founder of the nation, late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Senior political, intellectual, and academic figures participated in the event.
Abu Dhabi, 2nd Dec. 2008 -- The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) will implement all its future projects according to the framework of the Kyoto Agreement's Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) related to the reduction of carbon emissions.
Applying this in line with the directives of H. E. Yousef Omair bin Yousef, Secretary General of the Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC) and CEO of ADNOC, the company will be cooperating with the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (MASDAR) and Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD).

2008. The work in the private sector will resume from Wednesday the10th December.
A circular issued by the Minister of Labour HE Saqar Gobash today said that all the firms, establishments and companies in the private sector will observe the holidays.
