Hyderabad, Apr 4: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) in Andhra Pradesh suspended three of its rebel candidates on Saturday after they failed to withdraw their nominations for the coming elections despite requests made by party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Those suspended include former MLA M. Padma Devender Reddy, party youth wing president Jitta Balakrishna Reddy and senior party leader P Raghupati Rao.
Hyderabad, Apr 2 : Telugu Desam Party chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday released his party's manifesto for the upcoming general elections.
The manifesto has promised to implement a slew of measures aimed at empowering every section of the society.
"If voted to power, the TDP will insure economic, food and health security," Naidu told reporters while releasing party's manifesto at NT Rama Rao Trust Bhavan here.
Hyderabad, Mar 31 : The seat-sharing arrangement between the four-party Grand Alliance led by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is still inconclusive.
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is holding talks with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K. Chandra Shekhar Rao, the Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Narayana and the Communist Party of India- Marxist (CPM) leader Raghavulu to resolve the issue.
All the four parties have fielded their candidates in the seats where alliance parties are contesting.
