Ludhiana authorities dispatch relief material for Punjab flood victims  Ludhiana (Punjab), Sept 2 : A large number of people who lost their houses and property in Bihar, due to the ravages of floods, have started migrating to Ludhiana in Punjab in search of employment.

These migrants are hopeful that Ludhiana, being an industrial city, will provide them opportunities for employment.

"I have come here to earn a living as there was a flood in Bihar. Our houses were destroyed and we suffered a huge loss," said Bhola Yadav, a worker.

To make the initiative successful, radio sets have been provided to 13,000 primary schools in the State.

The objective is to make education accessible to those children who cannot attend a regular school.
