Russian products expo to kick off in Jordan Wednesday Amman - An exhibition of Russian products was due to open in the Jordanian capital on Wednesday with the participation of more than 30 firms, the event's organizer said Tuesday.

The two-day exhibition of engineering, metal and medical equipment products - the eight of its kind - was also aimed at Iraqi and Syrian markets, Russia Expo director General David Vartanov told a press conference.

Vartanov said the fair would help enhance trade between Jordan and Russia, particularly in light of Russia's decision to extend guarantees for Russian exports to Jordan. (dpa)
