Slight gain in OPEC oil price towards end of the weekVienna  - The price for oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) rose slightly to 51.55 dollars on Thursday, the Vienna-based group announced Friday.

One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC crude oil gained 0.38 dollars on Thursday.

The oil cartel calculates an average price based on 12 brands produced by its members.(dpa)
