Susan Boyle’s video tops Most Popular YouTube Video list
London, April 23 : The video of Britain''s Got Talent star Susan Boyle has become the most popular video and set a world record of a staggering 93.5 million hits in just 11 days on YouTube.
The 48-year-old had stunned all with her jaw-dropping performance of the Les Misérables song ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ on the talent show.
Her clip piped previous winner, a video called Charlie Bit My Finger, showing a kid chomping his brother’s hand, along with X Factor champion Leona Lewis’ pop video of Bleeding Love.
“I am truly gobsmacked. The reaction to my audition has been amazing,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
The church volunteer from Scotland, who is yet to own a computer, had even found a fan in former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
He told GMTV: “Susan is probably doing more good than most of the official channels of diplomacy.” (ANI)
