Two militants killed in Manipur encounter
Imphal, Feb 3, : Paramilitary forces gunned down two unidentified militants in Manipur's Senapati district on Tuesday.
Personnel of the 16th Assam Rifles were patrolling in the Kangchup Chiru Hill area when they were fired upon by the two militants.
In the resulting encounter, both militants were killed on the stop.
The bodies of the dead were sent to Regional Institute of Medical Science and Hospital for post mortem.
One AK-47 rifle, a loaded gun and some ammunition were recovered from the spot. (ANI)
