Vaughan tipped to be pushing hard for England team recall London, Mar. 17 : Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan appears to be quite serious about making a comeback to the national squad, if Yorkshire team mate and former England fast bowler Mathew Hoggard is to be believed.

Vaughan, 34, has not played Test cricket since giving up the captaincy last August but is desperate to play in The Ashes.

"He has been batting well in the nets. A lot of people will be focusing on Michael. It is going to be a big year for him," The Sun quoted Hoggard, as saying. (ANI)
